Textured abstract on canvas

This 24"x36" piece crafted with scrapers, sponges, brushes, newspaper, and spray paint is a process that is highly engaging and enjoyable to navigate. In the crafting of this piece, the final layer is created by applying a layer of spray paint over the dried background, then pressing newspaper on top while the paint is still wet and removing quickly.  It makes for a distressed look.  It is a physical style of painting that gets your body involved.
