Abstract on canvas

I was raised in a city where a river flows, and for the past twenty-five years of my career as a registered nurse, I have been working in another city where that same river also exists. For some of us, there is a draw to water. Much like human nature, water can be both calm and tumultuous. This is a mixed media piece created with acrylic paints on canvas and molding paste. 18"x24". The river banks in both the city I live in and the one where I worked for 25 years are alive with "tent cities.".
